At lunch today, I had a big salad, and it occurred to me that my idea of "salad" is definitely not what health conscious people have in mind, although there were plenty of nutrients mixed in. It included:
- 2 large bags of spinach
- 2 cans of chick peas
- 1 cup of mushrooms
- 16 fried chicken strips, chopped
- 2 cups of candied pecans
- 2 cups of blue cheese crumbles
- 2 bags of seasoned croutons
- 1 bottle of blue cheese dressing
I also downed 8 pieces of garlic cheese toast and a big bowl of tomato bisque.
Desert was a bowl of watermelon and 2 pints of ice cream.
I feel this is a nice compromise, no? 🤣
